Matthew 7:13-14 (KJV)
13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Sometimes the words of Jesus are hard to swallow. Jesus ends the Sermon On The Mount with a series of contrast. These contrast help us to understand more about the true kingdom man or woman.

Jesus speaks of two roads, one straight and narrow and the other wide and broad. I have listened to many people of “influence” speak about all roads leading to heaven. That everybody gets there. I have done many funerals for people who professed a salvation experience but showed zero evidence, no sign of conversion. They used this profession as a form of “fire insurance” to protect them against that day. This leads me to a question, can you invite Jesus into your heart and not surrender your life to His lordship? Throughout the growth of the church in the book of Acts, changed lives is the mark of salvation.

I do believe that there are many believers who came to saving knowledge of Christ, Jesus changed them, and they walked with Him in control. Who have since fallen away and are out of fellowship with the Father. I hope that the promise of the prodigal will help in understanding. He was brought up in the father’s house, drew his life from the father’s provision and worked for the father. When he left the father there was never a time when he was not a son, never a time when he was not loved and never a time when he would not welcomed back.

Gods desire is for us not to sin. 1 John 2:1 (KJV) 1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not.  God has given us everything we need to live a life for Him. 1 John 2:1 (KJV) 1 … And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: He knew us! He provided a way for regaining lost fellowship. JESUS! We are blessed.
